The Tale of Milo and the Mystic Tea

Long ago, in a meadow bathed in sunlight, a caterpillar named Milo lived on a single, familiar leaf. While others spun their cocoons, eager to transform, Milo hesitated. “The sky is too vast, too uncertain,” he said. “What if I fall? What if I’m not enough?”

One evening, an emerald-winged beetle appeared. “Milo,” the beetle said, “you fear what lies ahead, but within you is the courage to fly. Drink this tea—it will not give answers, but it will reveal the truth you already hold.”

Milo sipped the tea, and in a vision, he saw two paths: one where he remained on his leaf, safe but unfulfilled, and another where he soared as a butterfly, free and fearless. The voice of the wind whispered, “To live is to change. To stay is to wither.”

Awakened, Milo spun his cocoon. The days inside were dark and uncertain, but he trusted the process. When he emerged, his wings glistened in the morning sun. With a deep breath, he leapt into the sky, discovering the beauty he once feared.

And so, Milo’s story became a lesson: The caterpillar that clings to the leaf will never know the strength of its wings.
